INTEGRATED INTELLIGENT LIGHTING SYSTEM

Abstract:

This project was done at AMBAL AUTO, Coimbatore, which is one of the authorized Maruthi vehicle service centre, as we all know that, in this fast growing world automobile vehicle are more important for transportation, the vehicle should be more suitable to aid the world by it all means. Nowadays various safety features are adopted in the modern car.

Maximum numbers of accidents are caused only due to the poor visibility and lack of adequate lighting system at night. In the conventional lighting system, when the vehicle takes a turn or moves in the highway at severe climatic conditions, it does not fulfill the driver’s requirements. To minimize these problems, we have to go for some improved lighting system. This proposed system suggests an intelligent self-aligning microcontroller based lighting system.

Our main objective is to develop a lighting system that can be controlled automatically, during left hand turning, right hand turning, low speed, high speed and adverse weather condition and also the automatic dipping and dimming arrangements at economic cost.

In our system we integrate the two innovate technology altogether. Here side lamp will rotate regarding of the steering wheel rotation and the head light will automatically change the beam intensity regarding of the opposite vehicle beam intensity.
