Abstract:
The Object of this project is to detect the speed of the vehicle and cutoff the fuel if it exceeds set speed. This project is designed with micro controller, Proximity Sensor as speed sensor and driver circuit with Relay and keypad.
In this project we are using Proximity sensor as a speed detector. A Proximity sensor can detect objects without physical contact. A proximity sensor often emits an electromagnetic field or beam and look for changes in the field. The object being sensed is often referred to as the proximity sensor's target. Here is an inductive proximity sensor, requires a metal target.
The proximity sensor fixed near the wheel of vehicle to detect the sensor we fixed one plate on the wheel. When vehicle is traveling on the road proximity sensor crosses the plates and it gives the signal to micro controller.
